Wedding Gestures
Type of Game: Wedding - Wedding Gestures Equipment: Paper and Pencils Formation: Teams # of Players: 10+ Description: Divide your group into two teams. Next, determine how long you want each round to be, 3 minutes is usually a good round time. Have each team huddle and write the names of anything pertaining to a wedding on pieces of paper without letting the other team hear what they write. Have each team put their papers folded in a bowl. Give teams the other team's bowl of suggestions. Choose a team to go first and then choose a person on that team to go first and pick a suggestion from their new bowl. On the signal, start the time and this player will begin by gesturing what the item is, whether it's a book, movie, song, etc. to their team. This player has 3 minutes to act out what's on their paper without saying anything. If the player's team guesses what was on the paper correctly gets a point. And can continue until the 3 minutes are up. Then it's the other team's turn. When the time runs out, that team gets all the points they got in that round. The team that has 10 points first wins. No No's: No spelling out words, No mouthing words, No pointing to objects in the room, and No humming the words. Different version: Instead of acting it out, have players sketch out the word or phrase without writing any letters, numbers, or words.
