Rocket to Mars

Type of Game: Birthday - Rocket to Mars

Equipment: Blindfold, Construction Paper, and a Red Crayon/Marker

Formation: Vs.

# of Players: 5+

Description: Make a map of Mars. All you need is a large piece of plain paper about 3 feet square. A double page from a newspaper will do in a pinch. Attach the paper to a wall with tape or lay it on the ground.

The paper represents a space map of the universe. The with a heavy red crayon draw a circle about 3" in diameter on the space map. This red ball will be Mars. Next draw on several other planets. Before you play, have each player make their own spaceship on a separate piece of paper.

Blindfold each player, spin them around, one at a time, and see if they can land their ships on mars. Make sure each ship has the child's name on it so you can tell who is the closest. The closest ship to the center of Mars wins.
