Pinning Baby Items

Type of Game: Baby Shower - Pinning Baby Items

Equipment: Clothes Pins and String

Formation: Individual

# of Players: 5+

Description: Have two people hold a long string or attach it from one wall to another. Put a pile of 20 or more clothes pins under the stretched string. Write the name of a baby item on each of the clothes pins (use both sides if you need space).

On the signal, players will grab, one at a time, the clothes pins and shout out the baby item on them. Give players about 30 seconds to get as many clothes pins as they can on the string.

The person with the most pins on in 30 seconds wins. If they drop a clothes pin, they are done and however many they have on the string is their counted amount.

Variation: Have a pile of 20 or more clothes pins in each basket. Write different baby items on each pin. Have identical piles for each basket.

On the signal you start calling out names of baby items that are in the basket. The players have to find the corresponding pin and put it on the string.

Only list 5-12 of the items that are in the basket. The players have 2 mins. to complete the task. You can choose to read the items slowly or fast. Whoever has the most correct clothes pins on the line at the end of the game is the winner.
