People to People
Type of Game: College - People to People Equipment: None Formation: Pairs # of Players: 10+ Description: Divide the group into pairs and have the group form a circle with the pairs facing each other. Someone is chosen to stand in the middle and they are the leader. The leader starts a beat by clapping or snapping their fingers and chanting "Peo-ple to peo-ple" Then everyone else copies his beat until everyone is doing it. Then the leader substitutes the name of a body part for the word people in the chant, keeping the same rhythm. He might say "Back to back", and as the group repeats the chant, they do what the chant suggests. If he says "Hip to hip" you'll bump hips. Do this all the while matching body part to body part until the leader shouts "People to people!" That's the signal for everyone to run around and find a new partner. The leader gets lost in the shuffle and finds a partner too. The extra player becomes the new leader and continues the chant.
