Party Planning
Party Planning can be a little tricky. Whether it's a birthday or retirement party there are a few things to consider.
Theme, Invitations, Decorations, Food. Also, don't forget the music. It helps set the right mood for guests the minute they walk in the door. Music that is somewhat neutral but still fun is great! If you find yourself a little short on the music supply try asking your friends to bring some of there music. This will help to make them feel more involved and make sure that they come. Below is a list of all things to consider and then a Party Planning Checklist to fill in your own information. Remember a great party doesn’t just happen by some unknown force. A great party is planned! If you fail to plan you plan to fail.
Unfortunately most people do not seem aware of this. I am sad to report that often people pick a date, send invitations, and get some food ready and call that planned! Being the experienced partier that you are you may be saying to yourself what about games, MC’s, a time line, etc? I am sure you are aware if you plan the atmosphere and fun it will show through in all aspects of your party. By following our simple yet thorough plan you can throw a great graduation, anniversary or holiday party without breaking a sweat.
One quick tip: Always plan a little further in advance than you think you will need. Take plenty of time to plan a great party! It will be talked about for years and years for good or bad. You don't really want to be known as the person that forgot to get the party planning checklist and had a party without great party games. No you don't you want to be known as the partier that did it right, you had a party planning checklist and the best party games that fit the party that you were planning, you backdated your plan so that you had lot's of time for all that last min. stuff. and you pulled off the party that was talked about 10 years later as the best party ever planned. You had your party food, your skits and even your Party Games lined up so that no one even knew that you had to have it planned. Let me repeat that...If your party is planned and pulled off well your guests won't even know that you had to spend so much time on it. They won't know about your party planning checklist or even that you set up some of the games to be a little more fun. It will go "off without a hitch" Good Luck On you next party. and don't forget the party planning checklist!!
