Type of Game: Adult - Newtons Law

Equipment: Apples, String, Scissors, Hats

Formation: Pairs

# of Players: 5+

Description: Divide the group into pairs and give each pair scissors and a hat. Hang some apples on string from a table or counter. Try to vary the height of each string.

One player from each pair cuts the string and the second player tries to catch the apple in a hat. Players cannot take the hat off the floor.

The pair which manages to gather the greatest number of apples wins the game.

Variation: You could make this part of a relay-use this game as the first step
Then one player has to use his/her mouth to get the apples out of the hat
Then using only their legs the pair has to get as many apples as they can, one at a time, into a bucket of water across the room.
