Memory Test

Type of Game: Birthday - Memory Test

Equipment: 10 - 15 Small Items and Large Cloth

Formation: Individual

# of Players: 10+

Description: Place about 10-15 small items on a table and cover them with a cloth. Sit everyone in a circle and place the items in the middle of the group and remove the cloth for 60 seconds.

Everyone has to remember the objects. When the time is up, replace the cloth. Each person has to name as many objects as they can. Now the players will go around the circle trying to name an object that is under the cloth. If players fail to name an object, repeat an object, or name something not on the tray is out.

After the first round, move the objects around and remove some of the objects, and re-start the game. If the game is too easy for the group, add more objects or reduce the time to guess/memorize them.

Variation: After showing the objects for a time, have each person write down as many objects as they can remember. Then read back the list of objects one at a time while everyone marks them off if they have them written down. Give a prize to the person(s) with the most correct.
