Some hard brain teasers can be used as a good ice breaker games also!

Hard brain teasers are great for lot's of different kinds of parties. From birthday parties to party games for bridal showers, They keep everyone laughing. That is our goal with any party game is to keep everyone laughing and having a good time.(well that and keep them thinking about brain teasers instead of getting into trouble.)

One of my favorite hard brain teasers is to pass out a sheet of paper on it with the following. (You can just copy and past this into a word doc.)

Another fun but hard brain teasers game is the watch carefully and do exactly what I do party game. This is great as a kids brain teasers game. I have used this hundreds of times at Scouts to get everyone’s attention. Love it.

This is how it works.

First you say “watch carefully and do exactly what I do.” Stand up and hold out one hand, palm facing the audience, with all five fingers spread. Touch the tip of each finger with the index finger of the other hand (starting with the pinky finger) and as you do so say “Johnny.” On the slide down from the indes finger to the thumb say “whoop!” Johnny whoop! Johnny Johnny Johnny Johnny “ after you finish place your hands on your hips and say “now you do it.” The person does it and if they don’t do everything, including the hands on the hips at the end. You repeat it until they realize that you mean EVERYTHING. Each time you repeat it, make it more obvious that you’re putting your hands on your hips.

The next hard brain teasers that I would like to share with you and that you can turn into printable brain teasers is that yard stick kids brain teasers.

You take a yard stick (or any other stick and run up in front of the audience and say watch carefully and do exactly what I do. You clear your throat and tap out a beat on the ground. Left right left left right. Then you hand the stick to the other person and say again do exactly as I did.

They will try to get the beat just right, the timing and might even get that they need to hand the stick back to you saying do exactly as I did. But I have only found a few people that catch on to the clearing your throat before you start. As a kids brain teasers game this can go on for a long long time. I once started this at the first of a 50 mile hike I went on with the scouts and they were all trying to figure out how to do it for the whole 5 days we were on the trail. At the end of the hike one of the other leaders finally put it together and let the cat out of the bag. It was great wile it lasted.

It was also definitely on of the hard brain teasers I promised.
