Type of Game: Icebreaker - Guess the Word

Formation: Individual

# of Players: 10+

Description: Choose a word. It may be the name of a person , or any noun. For Example: "holiday". Place prizes in either a big sac that isn't see through or boxes for each prize. The number of the prizes is equal to the number of the letters in the word you named.

Using HOLIDAY: The name of the first prize begins with the letter "h". The name of the second prize begins with the letter "o". The third - with the letter "l" etc.

Have the players guess what is in the bag beginning with each letter, until someone names the prize that starts with the first letter. Let players take turns guessing. The player who guesses right gets the prize they named.

Then the players try to guess what is in the sac/box which begins with the second letter. Here's an example of possible prizes you could give out. Remember the prizes don't have to be expensive, just start with the appropriate letter:

Toy Hen
Orange
Lollipop
Ink-Pad
Toy Drum
Apple
Yogurt

If players are having trouble guessing, tell them whether it's eatable or not.
