Come up with words or phrases that go with engagement and marriage. Such as: Since you are throwing this party for someone you know add things that are personal and funny. For example I got married young and it was a hot topic. So the phrase cradle robber would have worked. After you get all the phrases you want. Take a bunch of 3x5 cards and write each word twice. So each word or phrase is on two cards. Flip the cards over so no one can see the words. Go around the room, starting with the lucky lady, and have her pick two cards. If they are a match she goes again and gets a candy. Then the next person goes. Whoever has the most candy at the end will get a prize. This free bridal shower game sounds really simple, cause it is. But it gives the guests plenty to talk about when it is not their turn. Say someone flips over proposal, everyone will talk about how they were proposed to or how they want to be.
