Dress Up Games - Funny Adult Party Game

Some that are big over coats, even the coats that people came to the party in. You will need some old dresses, some blouses some baggie pants, hats, shoes, glasses, etc.

The idea of any Dress Up Game is to get people a little out of their comfort zone.

Just a little bit. You don’t want to scare them into not ever coming to one of your part game parties ever agene. But just bring a little excitement to the table.

Ok so you have you box or truck of clothes, now it is time for the fun to begin.

There are hundreds of ways to “do” dress up games. But the basic idea is to put on clothes in a way that you normally would not put them on. Or with people that you would not normally put them on with.

For example having a big strong manly man put on a dress or stockings. Or have a Lady put on a pair of overalls. Or a teenage girl put on a football jersey. Anything that will keep the people attending your party games laughing and having a good time.

Let’s get started with Dress up Games relay race style. Take your trunk of clothes and put it at one end of the room. Have the party game players stop fast whatever they are doing.

Hopefully you are just coming down from a great icebreaker game and ready to move on to the next big thing. Have them stop and grab the person closest to them. This person them becomes there opponent in the Dress up game relay race.

If you have 20 people at the party game get together you should have 2 groups of 10 each.

You explain that they need to run one at a time down to the trunk of dress up game props and pick the first thing they see and put it on. Once it is on they have to come back to the line of their teamates and have the next person in line take it off of them.

Sidebar: You as the host can change the rules to be what ever you want them to be. I have seen this played where the next person in line has to take the prop off of the one coming back with their mouth only and it is hilarious.

But that might be a little too much for you if you are playing your party games with say your grandmother or something. It works great for teen or college party games.

Ok back to the dress up party game once the next person in line has the prop off of there teammate then they put it on in a different way.

For example if the first person came down with a dress on the way a dress is normally worn the next person would put it on backwards or inside out. After they get it on a different way they would run as fast as they can, knowing that they are racing the other team, back to the trunk they take off the prop and put on a different one.

Play continues till the first player makes it back through the line and helps the last player take off their prop.

To end this and all party games you need to make it a climax high point. After the whole team has had a turn. Have all the players do a cheer and get in a human pyramid. Or somthing fun like that to keep the party games moving go right into the next party game.
