Coed Teen Party Games, Group Party Games, and Relay Races

Coed teen party games can be a little tricky. First and foremost you want to make sure that everyone has a good time.

Second you want to make sure that everyone feels safe and happy to be playing coed teen party games.

When putting on party teen birthday party games I like to use relay races games for a big part of the party. Relay race ideas are some times hard to come up with so I have put together a list of the best ones that I have personally used as group party games and other teen birthday party games.

Some of the relay race ideas are indoor relay games some are for large group games but all will work with a little modification to fit your coed teen party games.

First some guidelines for safe indoors relay games.

Indoor relay games must be safe.

Careful with water and other stuff that people might slip on on the floor.

No wall boundaries, sharp edges, protruding objects, etc. You don’t want to end the relay races games to go to the hospital (it is no fun I had to do this once)

Be carefully of Issy Dizzy stuff where people have to spin around 27 times and then run to the other wall. (it may be fun to watch them fall down but not so much if they don’t get back up)

Now for some Leadership Techniques:

As guests arrive to play your group party games put them into small groups with a staff group leader. (someone that knows the game and has rehearsed it before)

Group leaders create team spirit and enthusiasm Have them help pick a team name and do a group hugs, hand slapping, cheers etc.

Demonstrate events with staff before the guests arrive.

Use theme and storytelling especially as party of family party games.

Post sequence of events so that people including your staff know what is next.

Even-up teams by having some people go twice.

Consider using music and candy to get people into the party games for teens. (this works like magic)
